Meet Sarsha Blackman, DDS
Background and Credentials
Dr. Blackman hails from the twin island republic of Trinidad & Tobago. After graduating Summa Cum Laude with an undergraduate degree in Radiation Therapy, Dr. Blackman treated cancer patients at Sibley Memorial Hospital, in Washington, D.C. That experience had a profound impact on her and was a driving force behind Dr. Blackman’s mission to help patients achieve maximum oral and systemic health.
Dr. Blackman graduated from Howard University with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, finishing in the top three of her class. After graduation, she completed an Advanced Clinical Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York where she trained in all areas of dentistry in hospital as well as outpatient clinic settings.
Dr. Blackman can be described as gentle, patient, honest, and passionate about caring for her patients.
Dr. Blackman is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
In her spare time she can be found spending time with her husband and two young daughters.
